Hello everyone!!!!

If you don't remember who I am, it's because of these reasons:

1. I changed my username from «gabrielxdesign» to «profgabrielx» since that is more accurate.

2. I've been gone for a while, since the pandemic I've been too busy trying to get things done, so I haven't been posting basically anything.

Anyway, I've been working on a lot of stuff lately, from traditional art to AI generations, and I'll be posting amazing stuff, just stay tuned.

So, I decided to create a flaming Rengoku from Demon Slayers, probably one of the most beloved characters in the series. It took me a lot to make the hair to look realistic, it took me a lot of time to make it not look as a cosplayer wig. Hope you like it!

So, I decided this time to create one of the most fun characters from this “anime season”, Marin Kitagawa, which is co-lead in “My Dress-Up Darling”. There are a few things I couldn’t do fine this time, and it was because of “Make up!”, for example, even though I ran some AI recognition tests and most of them say she’s Asian, I don’t feel she looks very Asian because her eyes don’t look narrow enough, I guess because of the fake lashes and mascara I did. Hair is also something tricky, especially when only about 30% of her hair was actual real hair, the rest is just lots of processing.

Meet the real Takagi-san from "Teasing Master Takagi-san". Well, I can't say she is "real" because, she's not.

So, I decided to create fake people based on anime and cartoons. Yes, this girl is not really a girl, she's made with Photoshop. She's a bunch of pieces of real pictures processed with a couple of AI powered apps. The process is kind of difficult to tell, but let's say she's a collage of face/body parts made in Photoshop, then processed in a couple of AI apps, and retouched again, it's too back and forth.

«RECLAIMED» Part 2, Work in progress. So, I'm close to to finish this section of my artwork. As you can see, I used some white airbrush paint to make a dusty layer over the chrome paint, this is to make the robot look broken and old. Also used black and silver thin wire with black silicone to make some damaged features. Oh, also there's a nice wood decoration where she will lay just like that.

«RECLAIMED» Part 1 (work in progress). So, I've been working a lot since the pandemic and now I have enough time for art. This is the first part of multidisciplinary artwork I'm creating. What you see right now is a 3D printed doll based on two popular japanese toys with some modification, especially size and a couple of pieces. It was printed with Photopolymer Resin (SLA), treated with Primer (Montana Can) and painted with (Montana) Chrome. This is just the first stage for that piece. I - obviously - won't get how everything will be, but I can say she will look like a small broken robot. Stay tuned!
